Fr. John was ordained to the presbyterate of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Belleville in 2001. After three years of struggle with an organization that would not be flexible enough to meet the needs of a spiritually hungry community Fr. John left to enter into marriage and thought he was finished being a minister, a vocation he loved dearly. He spent years as a Mental Health and Community Development Social Worker. Then in 2022 he came in contact with the Ecumenical Catholic Communion that was open to having all people at the sacramental table in ministry and leadership. This was one of the greatest blessings of his life. He was incardinated as a presbyter of the communion in 2023. Following an invite from his dear friend Tim he moved to Appleton in 2026 and together they have founded St. Julia Greeley Inclusive Catholic Community. He lives the life of a Monastic Hermit in his hermitage in Appleton. The life of work and prayer helps him commune with God, Creation, and the Body of Christ, the Church. For work he helps people make plans for their future as a Financial Representative for Modern Woodmen of America. Fr. John is an avid fan and follower of Ohio State Football and loves all kinds of music, especially music theatre and opera.
