On July 11th the community gathered to celebrate the 25th presbyteral ordination of Fr. John. It was a joyous celebration presided over by Bishop Pablo Burson the Presiding Bishop of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion, of which Fr. John is a member of. Mr. Val Bartlein provided wonderful music to make the celebration a joyous occasion. The community gathered in fellowship hall following the celebration for a potluck and share stories. Friends from Father Johns's undergrad years who where at his first mass and ordination were also present. His mother made a special chasuble he wore for the occasion. Fun was had by all. The theme was "Let us make our Garden Grow!"
